English corners

Once a week the classes of 5th level go to the library and work the English subject by corners. There are four different activities: reading, writing, speaking and computers.

We write books and then we complete a worksheet.

We are playing the battle ship game using the structures we learn in class.

Here you can see how we work in class:

“The lost duckling” is the story of a baby duck just born who can’t find his mum. Two mice, Ben and Lisa, help him to look for his mum in the farm. They see different animals and at last they find mummy duck.
This story has been performed by our pupils of 2nd level. In groups, each one chose a character, studied his part, rehearsed the play and here is the result.

WHERE DO YOU LIVE? use to ask our penfriends.
We want that our penfriends from Greece know a little more our country, so we have made a powerpoint presentation about CATALONIA, giving a general information and talking about other aspects like sports, food, culture, famous people, important towns and places...
We want to share our work so here you have the two presentations, one made by 6th A level and the other by 6th B level.

PS. Don't forget to have the speakers on. You can watch and listen, too.

One activity during the cultural week was making posters about food. In small groups, all the pupils of 1st level prepared their own poster with pictures and names of food. You can see them working and then showing their work.

It’s name is “Brunnsangskolan”; it’s a big and old school, with nearly 1.000 pupils. This school year they have a new subject called Home Economics; they like it because it’s very fun. In this subject they learn things like cooking.
